This demo tries to replicate the video as closely as possible. Therefore, possibilities to expand on the original idea for Project Rap Rabbit and create a complete level (in 3D with animated characters, multiple rounds of battle, complete music, story, and lyrics, etc.) were disregarded.

Controls:
[escape] = quit game
[backspace] = reset game
[enter] = start
[space] = hit neutral (blue) nodes
[x] key = hit (X) nodes
[y] key = hit (Y) nodes
[b] key = hit (B) nodes
[a] key = hit (A) nodes

How to play:
Being based on the concept gameplay video from the Project Rap Rabbit Kickstarter Campaign, this demo only contains one round of rapping and no alternative lyrics to choose from. (You can choose the other style options, but there's no alternative versions for the audio and beats to hit during your phase. It still influences the score and damaged dealt/received though.)

So how does it work?
Phase 1:
Tap the correct sequence of buttons to pick out red words for your choice wheel. The faster you get it right the more points you score.

Phase 2:
Choose a style to respond with by using the left and right arrow keys to cycle through styles. Confirm your choice with  the [space] key or wait till the timer has run out.

Phase 3:
Check the incoming nodes and press the corresponding keys to hit the beat. Neutral blue nodes are hit with the [space] key. Other nodes will show you what to press. Try to match the timing of the vocals to get it right. 

Phase 4:
View results. Return to the Titlescreen and play again or simply quit playing and enjoy your day.
